About

Fleetcare is a GPS vehicle tracking and fleet management platform operated by African Stuff (also written as Africanstuff), a South African business. The platform is provided to fleet operators in Southern Africa and covers live vehicle tracking, trip and position history, refuelling and maintenance records, driver and vehicle bookings, and event monitoring.

Fleetcare is a business platform supplied to registered account holders. It is not a public shop and there is no catalogue of goods for sale. Access is arranged directly with us, and the monthly fee is agreed per account.

Support

Email telemetry@africanstuff.co.za for support, billing questions, account changes or any request relating to your information. Support is provided during South African business hours, and email is our primary support channel.

Payment Methods

We accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express cards, as well as Apple Pay and Google Pay. Debit and credit cards are both accepted.

Card payments are processed by our payment provider on a secure payment page hosted by them. Card numbers are never entered on the Fleetcare site, are never seen by us, and are not stored on our servers. All pages are served over HTTPS.

Payments are made in South African Rand (ZAR). The amount payable is shown in full, including any applicable value added tax, before a payment is confirmed.

Terms and Conditions

Last updated September 2026.

1. The service

African Stuff provides access to the Fleetcare platform, which receives, processes, stores and displays vehicle tracking and related fleet data for the account holder. Access is provided over the internet through this website.

2. Accounts and access

Access is granted per account. The account holder is responsible for keeping login credentials confidential and for the activity of the users to whom they give access. Please tell us promptly if you believe credentials have been compromised.

3. Fees and billing

The service is billed monthly and is paid in advance. The monthly fee is agreed with the account holder and is shown in full before any payment is confirmed. Payment extends the account's paid-up date by the number of months paid for.

4. Months in arrears

Fees accrue for every month in which an account exists, whether or not the platform is signed in to during that month. Vehicle data continues to be received, processed and stored on our servers throughout, and that cost is incurred by us regardless of use.

Where an account has not been paid for one or more months, access is restored only once all outstanding months have been settled. Paying for a single month does not restore access to an account that is in arrears for a longer period, and outstanding months cannot be skipped or written off by paying only for the current month.

5. Suspension

Access is suspended when the paid-up date passes. Suspension affects access to the platform only. Data already recorded for the account is retained while the account remains open, and access to it resumes once the account is brought up to date.

6. Acceptable use

The platform may be used only for lawful fleet management purposes and only in respect of vehicles and drivers the account holder is entitled to monitor. The account holder is responsible for having the necessary consent or other lawful basis for monitoring the drivers of its vehicles.

7. Availability

We work to keep the platform available at all times, but the service depends on third party networks, satellite and cellular coverage and tracking hardware that are outside our control. The service is provided without a guarantee of uninterrupted availability.

8. Changes

These terms may be updated from time to time. The current version is always published on this page, with the date it was last updated shown above.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa.

Refund and Return Policy

Last updated September 2026.

Fleetcare is a prepaid service. Payment is made in advance for a chosen number of months, and access runs until the paid-up date reflected on the account.

Payments are not refundable. Amounts paid are not refunded in whole or in part, and time that has been paid for but not used is not refunded or exchanged for credit if an account is closed, suspended or simply not used before the paid-up date. What you receive in exchange for payment is access for the months paid for, and that access is available for the whole of that period.

No goods are shipped and nothing is delivered physically, so returns and exchanges do not apply.

If a payment is taken in error, a payment is duplicated, or an amount is charged that does not match what was agreed, contact telemetry@africanstuff.co.za and we will investigate and correct it.

Privacy Policy

Last updated September 2026.

This policy explains how African Stuff handles personal information in connection with the Fleetcare platform, in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

Who is responsible

African Stuff operates the platform. For any question about your information, or to make a request under this policy, email telemetry@africanstuff.co.za.

What we hold

Why we hold it

To provide the tracking and fleet management service to the account holder, to support and maintain the platform, and to bill for the service. We do not sell personal information and we do not use it for advertising.

Information about drivers and employees

Most personal information on the platform is placed there by the account holder about its own vehicles, drivers and staff. In those cases the account holder decides what is collected and why, and is responsible for having a lawful basis for monitoring and for informing the people concerned. We process that information on the account holder's behalf and in accordance with their instructions.

Who we share it with

We share information only where it is needed to run the service: with our payment provider in order to take payment, and with the network and tracking providers that carry vehicle data. We disclose information otherwise only where the law requires it.

Card details

We do not receive or store card numbers. Card payments are entered on a payment page hosted by our payment provider, and we receive only confirmation of whether a payment succeeded.

How long we keep it

Vehicle and fleet records are kept for as long as the history option the account holder chose on sign-up. The default is 7 days, and this can be extended for a fee to as much as 3 years, so that history and reporting remain available over the chosen period. Thereafter records are kept only for as long as we are required to keep them.

When an account is closed, or a vehicle is removed from an account, its history reverts to 7 days and is retained on that basis for a further 30 days. It is deleted after that.

Billing records are kept for the period required by South African law.

Security

The platform is served over HTTPS. Access is controlled by individual login and by per-account permissions, so users see only the vehicles and records belonging to the account they belong to.

Your rights

You may ask what personal information we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, and ask for it to be deleted where we are not required to keep it. Email telemetry@africanstuff.co.za and we will respond. You also have the right to complain to the Information Regulator of South Africa.
